Salers breed
UALC has its own selection scheme for the Salers breed (see pdf catalog available on this site). It is therefore in control of the selection choices made for the bulls it distributes by AI, which are first evaluated at the Station Nationale de Qualification de la race Salers, le Fau. Each year, 1 to 2 new bulls are recruited on the basis of their results on farms and at the Station.
