Jean-Marc CAZILLAC
Jean-Marc CAZILLACLimousin genetics technician
UALC, via its 2 member cooperatives (80% Groupe Altitude & 20% CIAEL) is doubly involved in Créalim’s Qualités Maternelles selection scheme (see pdf catalog available on this site). Not only does it take part in the creation and recruitment of future Limousin AI bulls in its zone, but it also evaluates these bulls before their release at the Moussours Station. The latter takes in the weaned daughters of these bulls born on the farms and monitors their maternal evaluation (Fertility, Aptitude for 1st calving at 24 months and Milk production), right up to the weaning of their 1st calf.
Our genetics technician, Jean-Marc, with initial training and significant experience in the cattle genetics sector, monitors Maternal Quality controls at the Moussours Station. It specializes in the improvement of Limousin females. With many years’ experience, he has developed his skills to increase the herd’s productivity through the female route, while preserving the essential characteristics that characterize the Limousin: mix, finesse and the ability to maintain itself.
Driven by a passion for breeding, he works closely with breeders to provide genetic solutions through insemination to their sustainability objectives. He is deeply committed to building lasting relationships of trust with each breeder, ensuring transparent, technical communication and attentive support.
Don’t hesitate to contact Jean-Marc, for advice on the production of Limousin bulls distributed by Créalim, and to choose the most efficient ones to create future productive dams for your breeding, and adapted to your production (broutards, bullocks, heavy heifers, fat cows and steers).
