It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that runs from today until March 15, 2024, and you’re invited to take part whatever your affiliation – whether you’re with État Civil, Bovins Croissance or Inscrit. Why take part? Participation in progeny testing is a crucial step in improving and maintaining the genetic quality of your herd. This will not only improve your breeding’s future performance, but also contribute to the genetic richness of the Limousin breed. How to get involved It’s very simple. If you are interested in improving the genetics of your herd, please contact your inseminator. It will provide you with all the necessary information and guide you through the set-up process. STULPHAS : A very attractive mixed breed with lots of growth potential, STULPHAS is best suited to cows. With his good pelvic opening measured during his evaluation at the Station de Contrôle Individuel (year 2022-2023) and his very high dairy potential predicted by genomics, we hope that STULPHAS will pass on his excellent maternal qualities to his daughters.

SILIMBA: Young mixed breeding bull with good growth, good straightness and very good legs. Son of the famous EDAKKYA bull renowned for its excellent fertility, we hope SILIMBA will pass on this essential trait to his daughters.

SANTINI: This young mixed sire with an original pedigree has a nice pelvis and a good top. It performed very well on the feed efficiency criterion in the Individual Control Station.

REIWA :Half-brother to the bull POUCHKINE, whose daughters are currently being bred at the Station de Moussours, REIWA differs from his half-brother in his more mixed style, marked by excellent straightness and great finesse.

SOLAIRE: Predicted as an easy-birth bull with very strong dairy potential, this ENGY son out of an EREBOS dam, with very good pelvic opening measured in the Individual Control Station, is an excellent candidate for the Maternal Qualities test at Moussours.

SERILLON :A very nice meaty mixed breed that not only has a nice regular hindquarter, but also an open pelvic opening. It is of particular interest for its ability to combine feed efficiency and growth potential in the Individual Control Station. Like his sire JT, we’re hoping to find good maternal qualities in him, i.e. calving ability for daughters and milk production.

SAMPOLO: Son of the famous bull JURANCON, SAMPOLO stood out at the Individual Control Station for his morphological qualities: a well-balanced mixed breed with great length and finesse, as well as a very good pelvic opening. But it also convinced on its production with a very good feed efficiency and a very good growth in controls.

RLINK : Young bull of mixed meat type with good pelvic opening measured at the Individual Control Station, out of a dam with 116 IVMAT.
